I have known Kelli Workman for the past 10 years as a professional colleague and as a teacher at Bodyworks Studio in Tucson, AZ. Kelli is a fabulous Pilates instructor. She was very patient with me as a beginner and continues to provide feedback to improve my form/alignment as I progress. Her cues are clear, and she provides modifications as needed. She has extensive knowledge of the body and is great at explaining the intention of the different movements. I've worked one-on-one with Kelli for the last two years. Working with her has not only kept my body in shape but it has kept my mind in shape. She always makes sure to check in with my body and see if there's anything that needs to be focused on. I’ve worked one-on-one with many different types of fitness trainers. Most focus on how to build strength in the moment, but Kelli makes sure to instill exercises that help you throughout your normal day. As a dancer, injury is your biggest fear, but working with Kelli’s knowledge has helped me keep my body stable and balanced. Kelli is the type of instructor that puts your overall health above everything else. She is such an amazing coach/trainer that you don't even realize she's not in the same room with you when doing an online zoom call! Kelli is such a valuable teacher not only in my eyes but also in the fletcher community. She holds herself up to a certain standard and expects her clients to do the same. She teaches you how to understand why and what your body is doing so you know how to progress and move forward with the Pilates work.
